Phyllis Pellman Good and Merle Good have teamed together on a variety of projects, beginning in the early 1970s with an experimental theater. Today, they jointly oversee the operation of The People’s Place, a heritage interpretation center abut the Amish and Mennonites, in Intercourse, Pennsylvania, a village in eastern Lancaster County. They also operate The Old Country Store and several other shops located nearby. Merle Good is the publisher of Good Books and Phyllis Pellman Good is Book Editor.
